UNSW Aviation
Sydney, Australia
About
The main UNSW campus in Sydney has a strong international reputation, both for quality of delivery of course work for students, and for research.
UNSW Aviation delivers a Bachelor of Aviation (BAv) with Flying or Management stream options. The BAv takes 3 years full time, and the flight training component takes 18 months of this. In conjunction with the UNSW Australian School of Business, we also offer the BCom/BAv which is a four year degree, with compulsory and optional courses to allow students to gain the benefits of a traditional commerce degree, but with significant focus on aviation management.
The Master of Aviation Management and Graduate Diploma of Aviation Management are offered at postgraduate level, and by distance mode, so that students living and working anywhere in the world can study concurrently with their working life.
UNSW Aviation owns a fleet of Diamond DA40 and DA42 training aircraft, and the Flying Operations Unitis housed in modern premises at Bankstown Airport, Sydney. The UNSW main campus is located about 10km from SYD airport and about the same distance from the Sydney CBD.
