Spiker Helicopters, LLC

Located just north of Pittsburgh, PA, Spiker Helicopters, LLC has been in business since 2003, providing helicopter flight training, tours, event rides, search and locate, photo and video flights and other services.

Helicopter flight training is available for Private, Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor certificates. In 2014 we will also be offering training for instrument ratings and CFII. Our training is done in Enstrom and Brantly helicopters, as preferred by the student or required for conditions. Both types provide a high safety record and excellent platform for training, without the need to meet additional regulations in order to fly solo. Ron Spiker, the owner and chief pilot, also provides training in owner´s Enstrom, Brantly, and Bell 47 helicopters.

The training at Spiker Helicopters is tailored to each individual student´s needs and goals. Our training exceeds the minimum requirements for the FAA Practical Test (checkride), without wasting student´s time or money. With a local helicopter Designated Pilot Examiner available, scheduling checkrides is not a problem.
