 Balearic Helicopters is fully approved by the CAA and operates a flying school offering the EASA Private Pilots Licence and much more. UK CAA Fully Approved ATO.

Courses include

The full EASA PPL (H) Training on both the R22 and R44:

• 45 hours flight training
• 100 hours ground training
• 9 Ground Exams
• 1 CAA Radiotelephony Licence
• 2 hour flight test
• 1 hour oral exam
• 5 weeks minimum duration

EASA Type Rating R22 and R44:

• 5 hours flight training
• 10 hours ground training
• 1 ground exam
• 1 hour flight test
• 1 hour oral test
• 3 days minimum duration

Mountain Flying:

• 5 hours flight training
• 10 hours ground training
• 2 days minimum duration

Water Operations Training (R44 Clipper):

• 4 hours flight training
• 8 hours ground training
• 2 days minimum duration

CAA Radiotelephony Licence:

• 5 hours ground training
• 1 ground exam
• 1 oral exam
• ICAO language proficiency test
• 1 day course
