Skymates Inc, is a FAA Part 141 Approved flight school located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. We began in 1996 with a simple philosophy; establish a great relationship with your students, provide high quality training, and do it all cost-efficiently, and "word of mouth" advertising will help you grow. Today we are a well-established flight school training students from all over the world.

Our primary goal is to offer safe and efficient training so happy customers become returning customers.

FAA Professional Pilot Course

Upon completion, the pilot will be qualified to fly for charter and airline operations. Our program includes training in Garmin G1000 Glass Cockpit aircraft and includes complex multi-engine training, designed to prepare the pilot for advanced commercial aircraft.

The program takes 6-8 months to complete (full-time student) and you will gain approximately 250 flight hours.

FAA to JAA/EASA Professional Pilot Course

Skymates, is pleased to offer a complete, affordable and quick program that will allow you to obtain the following:

• FAA Private Pilot Certificate
• FAA Instrument Rating
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate Multi Engine
• Total Time: Approximately 270-280 Hours

The FAA to EASA courses can be customized to meet any outstanding requirements if you already have previous flight experience.

The program is structured in two different phases between our location in Arlington,Texas (USA) and Biggin Hill (UK).

The total duration of the course starting from “zero”, is approximately 12-14 months (10-12 months for a student who already holds a Private Pilot License)

Skymates, Inc began with the idea of being different from the small, understaffed, and underequipped flight school without turning into a huge impersonal flight training center. We succeeded. Our facilities are modern, well-kept, and clean. We have several classrooms and study rooms available for our students, and training equipment and high speed internet is available. With us you will feel like home.

Training Fleet

Skymates, Inc operate a fleet of more than 20 well-maintained training aircraft, including G1000 equipped Cessna 172s. A Piper Arrow is used for complex training, and we have new Piper Seminoles and a Partenavia P68 for advanced multi-engine training. We also have a state-of-the-art Precision Flight Controls Advanced Aviation Training Device which is perfect for instrument training.
