Leavia was constituted in August 1998 in Cascais Municipal Aerodrome, Portugal and became one of the most successful professional flight schools in Portugal, providing a wide range of aviation courses, including Integrated or Modular EASA ATPL Ab Initius courses.

The prices are also quite cheap. For reference, the ATPL integrated course starts around 47000,00 € all included. The economic lifestyle in Portugal also contributes for this factor.

Leávia is one of 7 AIR Group companies, which allows a synergy between the other services offered by the Group, such as: maintenance (Part 145), projects (Part 21J), ab initius training for maintenance techs (Part 147), and much more.

Portugal is internationally known as one of the sunniest european countries, with aproximately 300 flyable days per year.

The fleet includes: Cessna C150, 152, 172 RG, Tampico TB9, Tobago TB10, Cessna C210 Centurion, Mooney M20 J and Tecnam P2006 Multi Engine w/ Glass Cockpit.
