Lake superior college is a great college to earn your pilots license or your commercial license or whatever you need, but a major downside to the college that they have no dorms and upon asking where to stay they will refer you to the University of Wisconsin, about a 45 minute drive away (an alternative option would be renting an apartment of some kind). Again, the flight training and instruction is great for part 61 school but the fact that there is no dorms would push me to a different aviation college. Kaleb

I am currently attending Lake Superior College - Center for Advanced Aviation, and I have had a very positive experience so far. The Instructors are great and work diligently to help you succeed, it is very professional, we get to use high-tech aircraft for our training, and it is a Part 61 school but it feels on par with a Part 141. A 2-year program works wonderfully for me and I couldn´t imagine attending anywhere else. Nick
