This allows for the VA to pay for 100% of your helicopter flight training in conjunction with a online bachelors degree program. We strive for education excellence in all aspects of training. Higher Ground Helicopters offers helicopter flight training, helicopter tours, rides, and charters to the greater Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio area.

Higher Ground Helicopters flight training school is based out of Middletown, Ohio. Our flight training programs are geared toward the full time student and the working adult The program is designed to take a student from zero helicopter time to an employable Professional Certified Flight Instructor.

At Higher Ground Helicopters, we specialize in training career oriented pilots by offering a unique program that provides the student with all the necessary training to meet the needs of an ever growing helicopter industry. Founder Chad Fath began Higher Ground Helicopters with the intent to increase the standard of helicopter flight training by creating the Complete Professional Helicopter Career Program.

We have now expanded to include the Complete Professional Helicopter Career Program and our new bachelor´s degree/flight partnership with Westfield State University. The student will be able to achieve a bachelors degree in 3 years and their Certified Flight Instructor Instrument rating!
