Eastern Michigan University - Aviation

Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Aviation, with flight training at EMU’s Eagle Flight Center offers both FAA Part 61 and FAA Part 141 programs.

EMU Aviation is the largest collegiate flight school in the SE Michigan/Northern Ohio Area, and the fastest growing program in the Great Lakes Region. Our training fleet is mainly comprised of modern Cessna 172 SP Skyhawks equipped with Garmin G-1000 glass cockpits; the most advanced avionics on the market.

EMU offers two 4-year bachelor degree programs with majors in: 1) Aviation Flight Technology; and 2) Aviation Management.

Non-degree flight trainingis available through our "Community Learner" program.

EMU Aviation is ideal for those seeking a career in aviation and also seeking to be involved either a Navy (NROTC) or Air Force (AFROTC) program.

EMU and the Eagle Flight Center are approved by the State of Michigan’s "No Worker Left Behind" programand the federal government’s "Trade Adjustment Assistance" (TAA) Program.
