Central Maine Aviation

Central Maine Aviation has teamed up with Curtis Air at the Pittsfield, Maine municipal airport (2B7) to offer flight training. Primary and instrument training is offered in our Piper Warrior II (PA28-161) and Private Pilot Ground School is offered in the spring and fall.

Our instructors make flight instruction a priority. We are not just building hours and moving on. Flight instruction IS what we do.

Seaplane ratings are done in our Cessna R172K Hawk XP on Aqua 2400 straight floats. The XP has a Continental IO-360 rated at 210 HP, so it´s also a good time to pick up your high performance endorsement if you don´t already have one. For those needing accommodations while completing their seaplane rating, we have a lakefront camp with enough room to bring the family. (sleeps 6).

Pittsfield, ME is only 35 miles from Bangor, ME and 20 miles from Waterville, ME.
