About

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of aviation through BTC's post-secondary program, a perfect fit for individuals with a fervor for aircraft mechanics. With a robust curriculum designed to bridge the unmet demand for qualified aircraft mechanics in Vermont and beyond, students delve into comprehensive, hands-on training covering aircraft assembly, avionics, sheet metal fabrication, and more. The FAA-certified program spans an academic year, with a focus on Airframe and Powerplant sections, providing around 750 hours of study in each segment. Graduates emerge eligible for FAA Mechanic Certification, unlocking opportunities in various aviation roles, from airline mechanics and avionics technicians to specialists in composite repair.

Under the expert guidance of Moses Daly, an FAA-certified A&P with over two decades of industry experience, students gain invaluable insights into the intricacies of aviation. Moses, holding additional certifications such as Inspection Authorization (IA) and FAA Designated Maintenance Examiner (DME), brings a wealth of knowledge from his diverse background in general aviation, flight schools, and airlines. Beyond the technicalities, he shares his passion for aviation, having co-founded Vermont's largest FAA Part 141 flight school, Vermont Flight Academy. Moses Daly's dedication to nurturing the next generation of aviation professionals has enriched BTC students' educational experiences for over a decade, providing them with a strong foundation for success in the dynamic field of aviation.
