Breeze Aviation

Breeze Aviation is part of the Institute of Air Transport (IAT), which was founded in 1971. IAT succeeded the former Bulgarian Civil Aviation Airlines’ Training Centre, and continued its outstanding traditions in training personnel for the aviation industry.

Over the last few years, the group has undergone a complete transformation in terms of standards, facilities, equipment, and personnel. Under the rigorous certification of the industry leading Finnish Aviation Authority, the institute launched its first full-flight simulator (FFS) for Boeing MD 82/83 in 2007. In 2010, the institute received certification and launched a brand new Airbus A320 FFS.

Core activities are the training of pilots and cabin crew for aircraft types like Airbus A320 Family (A318, A319, A320, A321), Boeing 737, BAe 146, McDonnell Douglas 80, etc. With over 300 CAA Approved Training Programs, the group also provides maintenance, aviation security, airport personnel and other aviation specialists training.

At present, with its 15 classrooms, aviation Computer-Based Training software developed by WICAT and CPaT with over 40 work stations , five workshops and four full flight simulator bays, Institute of Air Transport demonstrates its mission to provide EU quality in its activities and to deliver the best services to its customers.
