5g Aviation is a unique company that provides Sport Pilot through ATP training in tailwheel aircraft. We believe that learning in tailwheel aircraft makes better pilots, especially with our highly experienced instructors who are active corporate and airline pilots as well as accomplished tailwheel and aerobatic pilots. Our aircraft range from the Iconic J3 Cub to the Ultra High Performance Extra 300L.

We specialize in Upset Prevention and Recovery Training, UPRT. In the wake of several high profile accidents involving large transport category aircraft the aviation industry is rapidly recognizing the need for increased emphasis on positive flight control and upset/stall recovery skills during the initial training process as well as on going training throughout a pilot´s career.

We work with conventional simulator and in-aircraft training providers to supplement their programs with upset/stall recovery training. Our entire staff is comprised of highly experienced aerobatic instructors who are also active corporate and airline pilots with extensive turbine and high altitude experience. 5g operates low time safe acrobatic category aircraft including the ACA Super Decathlon and Extra 300L.

As an American Champion Aircraft Dealer 5g Aviation is also capable of providing new or used Decathlons to training providers and offering our expertise to help them establish their upset prevention and recovery training programs.
