Flight Crew RequirementsPorter Airlines is currently recruiting Pilots! Requirements: Captains • Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Transport Canada); • Category I Medical; • Current Instrument Rating; • Min. 5,000 Hours Total Time; • Min. 500 Hours PIC on Dash-8 or 1,500 Hours PIC Heavy • Turboprop (in excess of 30,000 lbs MGTOW); Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors. First Officers • Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Transport Canada) • Category I Medical • Current Instrument Rating • Min. 3,000 Hours Total Time • Min. 500 Hours Multi-Engine PIC • Aviation College or University Degree is an asset; Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors. | |||||||||||
Cabin Crew Job RequirementsPorter Airlines is currently recruiting Flight Attendants! Minimum job requirements • Fluency in English plus one other language. French is a preferred asset • Completion of secondary school. Travel school is a preferred asset • Minimum of 2 years previous experience working with the public in a customer service role • Minimum of 19 years of age at time of employment • Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status (in possession of a permanent resident card) with the ability to travel without restriction • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete company screen process • Be neat and well groomed • May be called to work at short notice and therefore must be able to reach the airport within the 1 hour of callout • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays • Ability to meet required medical standards which also includes substance abuse testing | |||||||||||
Maintenance Job RequirementsPorter Airlines is currently recruiting AMEs! Minimum Requirements • Completion of secondary school is required • college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational facility • AME license issued by Transport Canada or USA licensing authority for US bases • Ability to work on a permanent basis in country of employment (Canada/USA) • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete the company screen process. | |||||||||||
