Company IntroductionMonarch Airlines is a subsidiary of the Monarch Travel Group. It is a British charter and scheduled airline based in Luton, England. It is one of the United Kingdom’s largest charter airlines operating to Europe, the United States, the Caribbean, India and Africa. It also operates scheduled flights to many Mediterranean destinations such as the Canary Islands and Cyprus. Monarch Airlines operate a fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. They will also be taking delivery of 6 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners from 2013. | |||||||||||
Flight Crew / Pilot JobsMonarch Airlines is accepting applications from Flight Crew. Monarch Airlines only recruit for the position of first officer on A320/A321, B757 and A300-600. There is currently an on-going requirement for experienced pilots. Advancement to mixed fleet flying (A320/A321/A330 and B757/B767) is based on seniority within these fleets. Subsequent promotion to captain depends upon suitable assessment and seniority. Miniumum Requirements • A UK national or JAR-FCL ATPL or Frozen ATPL • Class 1 medical certificate • At least 2000 hours total time in fixed wing aircraft • 500 hours on turbo prop or jet in excess of 15 tonnes • MCC qualified • The permanent right to live and work in the UK Occasionally may recruit pilots with lower total experience who possess a type rating for one of the aircraft types that they operate. | |||||||||||
Flight Attendant JobsMonarch Airlines is currently accepting CVs for Cabin Crew. Minimum Requirements • Minimum age 18 • Height 160 - 187 cm with weight in proportion to height • Holder of a full EU passport (with unrestricted world-wide travel) • A good standard of secondary education • A high standard of physical fitness • Capable of swimming 23 metres • The ability to converse with and have a genuine interest in people • Please be aware that tattoos are visible through the uniform shirt and blouse • A white cotton t-shirt should be worn to meet with grooming standards | |||||||||||
