Company IntroductionBritish Midland Airways Limited or BMI is a scheduled airline based in Donington Hall, close to East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom. The airline flies to destinations in Europe, North America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia whilst its operational bases are Manchester Airport and London Heathrow Airport. In January 2007, BMI bought British Mediterranean Airways which has enabled it to serve a wider range of mid-haul destinations. Flight Crew RequirementsBMI is not currently running any assessment centres as its immediate needs for the coming year have been met. However, BMI welcome you to register and your details will be held for a period of 9 months. Minimum requirements: • Air Transport Pilots Licence (or frozen ATPL) (UK and JAA) • 100 hours PIC • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating • MCC credit or valid MCC exemption granted by CAA • Completed theoretical knowledge requirements of ATPL instruction on an approved course • Class 1 Medical • The ability to work and reside in the EU | ||||||||
Cabin Crew Job RequirementsBMI are constantly recruiting for Cabin Crew and accepting online applications. Minimum requirements: • Minimum age is 18 • between 5’2" and 6’.2" in height with weight in proportion • Minimum 4 GCSE’s at grades A - C or the equivalent (NVQ level 2/grade 1 CSE only) • Applicants must hold a 10 year British or European passport before employment OR have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK in your own right, with the freedom to travel throughout the EU, as well as any relevant visas • Minimum of 12 month’s experience in a customer-facing role | ||||||||
