Flight Crew RequirementsBritish Airways is recruiting through its Direct Entry Pilot Scheme only but currently has no vacancies. The Sponsored Pilot Training Scheme is closed. Basic Requirements • UK issued JAA/CAA ATPL or Frozen ATPL • JAA/CAA Class 1 medical • ICAO Level 6 proficiency in English language Additional Requirements – Longhaul (777/747) • 2000 total time • 1000 hours resent experience on either: - Jet with MTOW > 25 tonnes - Turbo Prop with MTOW > 50 tonnes Additional Requirements – Shorthaul (A320) • 750 hours turbine with MTOW > 10 tonnes - or - • A320, B737 or B757/767 type rating • 500 hours on type | |||||||||||
Cabin Crew Job RequirementsBritish Airways is not currently hiring cabin crew. Minimum Requirements • Aged - 18 and 62 • Height - 5ft 2in to 6ft 2in • Height and weight in proportion • To be physically fit • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths • The right to live and work within the EU • Previous customer service experience • A valid E.U. passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel • To live within 90 minutes of the airport at which you are based (usually Heathrow or Gatwick) • no normally visible tattoos or body piercings. | |||||||||||
