A new three-year BSc (Hons) in Airline Transport Operations has been developed by Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and the Pilot Training College (PTC). The aim of the course is to equip graduates with a professional pilot's licence so they have the option of taking up employment with an airline as a First Officer, Airline Operations Executive or other senior role within the commercial aviation sector.
